LSP is expanding its team, and we're on the lookout for a CNC Machinist to contribute to our vibrant and innovative workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Strategy & Planning:
- Determine, implement, and monitor production strategies, policies, and plans with a focus on CNC machining.
- Plan production activities in detail, including output, quality, quantity, cost, timeframes, and labor requirements.

Operations & Quality Control:
- Control the operation of production plants and ensure strict adherence to quality procedures.
- Plan maintenance schedules, designate operating hours, and manage the supply of parts and tools.

Cost Management & Efficiency:
- Monitor production output and costs, making necessary adjustments to processes and resources to minimize costs.

Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate production-related matters effectively with other managers and departments.
- Coordinate the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment.

Equipment & Innovation:
- Oversee the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment.
- Direct research into innovative production methods and recommend suitable initiatives for continuous improvement.

Reporting & Documentation:
- Manage the preparation of accurate production records and reports for management review.

Leadership & Team Management:
- Direct staff activities, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a production management role with a strong focus on CNC machining.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring productivity and safety.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field are highly regarded.
