Position Overview:

As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of various metal structures and equipment. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and other alloys, using specialized tools and techniques to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces. You will also be required to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and precision in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment according to technical drawings and specifications

- Cut, shape, and weld metal pieces using hand and power tools

- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures and equipment

- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy

- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment, including welding machines, grinders, and drills

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations at all times

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues

- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Qualifications and Experience:

- Trade qualification in Boilermaking or equivalent

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

- Experience working with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and other alloys

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Current driver's license and reliable transportation
