Who We Are

BANKITRUCK is an innovative pan-African company specializing in mineral transportation and construction. We operate primarily in the Republic of Guinea, with additional operations in Sierra Leone and Mali.

With solid partnerships with international mining giants, BANKITRUCK plays a key role in the mining industry, particularly in bauxite transportation.

As part of our expansion and annual recruitment campaign, we are launching a call for applications for the strategic position of Transport and Logistics Operations Director.

Contract Type : Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
Duration : 4 years (renewable)
Location : Conakry / Boké Region

I. Main Mission

  • Define the strategy and development objectives for transport and logistics operations.
  • Increase mineral transportation capacity.
  • Proactively and effectively manage teams.

II. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all logistics and transport activities.
  • Develop action plans and operational reports for the team.
  • Implement a tracking and monitoring system aligned with strategic goals.
  • Optimize the logistics fleet through subcontracting and other means.
  • Manage on-site teams and mineral transportation operations.
  • Ensure the effective execution of mining plans in the short, medium, and long term.

III. Desired Profile

Qualifications :

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in Logistics, Transport, Mining, Management, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the transport/logistics sector, ideally in the mining industry and bauxite transportation.

Skills :

  • Proficiency in management and reporting tools for logistics control.
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet maintenance systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in French with a good command of English (bilingualism preferred).
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office and specialized management software.

IV. Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary : 5,000 to 10,000 USD/month.
  • Cost of Living Allowance : 1,053 USD.
  • Covered Expenses :
    • Airfare (economy class).
    • Installation allowance: 1,000 USD (paid after the 3-month probation period).
    • Temporary accommodation: One month in furnished housing or a suitable hotel.
    • Medical expenses coverage: 80%.
  • Annual Leave: 25 working days (cumulative up to a maximum of 50 days).
