GoHighLevel Automations Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced GoHighLevel Automations Specialist to build, maintain, and optimize CRM systems and automated workflows for our company and client accounts.

The ideal candidate understands how to turn business processes into reliable automations that improve lead response times, appointment booking, follow-up, pipeline management, and overall sales performance. This role will work closely with our sales development and operations teams to ensure every system functions properly from lead capture through conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain advanced workflows within GoHighLevel
  • Create automated SMS, email, voicemail, and internal notification sequences
  • Develop lead-nurturing and appointment-reminder campaigns
  • Build and organize pipelines, stages, opportunities, tags, and custom fields
  • Configure calendars, forms, surveys, funnels, and landing pages
  • Create round-robin and conditional lead-assignment systems
  • Set up triggers based on lead behavior, pipeline movement, appointment status, and other events
  • Integrate GoHighLevel with third-party platforms through Zapier, Make, webhooks, and APIs
  • Configure phone numbers, email services, domains, and sending infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot failed workflows, duplicate contacts, integration errors, and deliverability issues
  • Test all automations before deployment and monitor them after launch
  • Maintain documentation for workflows, integrations, and account configurations
  • Manage multiple client subaccounts while keeping systems organized
  • Recommend improvements that increase contact rates, appointment attendance, and conversion rates
  • Provide ongoing technical support to team members and clients

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience building automations in GoHighLevel
  • Strong understanding of workflows, triggers, conditions, filters, and custom values
  • Experience managing pipelines, calendars, forms, funnels, and CRM contact records
  • Experience integrating GoHighLevel with Zapier, Make, webhooks, or APIs
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to thoroughly testing work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable internet connection and availability during agreed working hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting SDR, appointment-setting, or lead-generation teams
  • Experience with real estate, home services, construction, or franchise businesses
  • Knowledge of A2P 10DLC registration and SMS compliance
  • Understanding of email authentication and deliverability, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
  • Experience with LeadConnector, Twilio, Mailgun, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and website integrations
  • Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or API documentation
  • Experience creating dashboards and reporting systems
  • GoHighLevel certifications or relevant portfolio examples
