Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Empathic Care Plus Services, you will be a cornerstone of our healthcare team, responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to our clients in various settings. Your role will include patient assessments, administering medications, and coordinating care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Administer medications and treatments
• Develop and implement care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
• Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
• Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ontario
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
• CPR, First Aid certification, ACLS, and BCLS Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
• Candidate must be able to lift and position patients on endoscopy stretchers and transport patients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in diverse healthcare settings
• Proof of valid CPR and First Aid
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• A heartfelt passion for caregiving, characterized by a deep sense of empathy
• Flexibility to work across various establishments in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding locales
