Role Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Partner Account Manager (PAM) to manage relationships with assigned T2 partners and drive the growth of their cloud and digital solutions. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working closely with partners to increase Google Cloud consumption, market share, and the acquisition of new clients.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with assigned partners at all levels (executives, sales, presales, finance, delivery).

  • Set targets and agree on goals with each partner.

  • Develop and execute a partner account plan that includes partner information, revenue targets, key initiatives, SWOT analysis, marketing activities, learning and certifications, and top 20 opportunities.

Pipeline and Performance Management

  • Conduct structured weekly pipeline reviews with partners.

  • Generate timely and accurate sales performance reports, analyzing key metrics to provide insights for decision-making.

  • Monitor project expenses to ensure they remain within budget, making adjustments as necessary.

Support and Enablement

  • Engage to support partners whenever required either directly or by coordinating with engineering, executives.

  • Support partners with pricing, quotes, for the solutions designed by the partners.

  • Coordinate partner enablement sessions (either onsite or webinars).

  • Work with partners to co-sponsor events and facilitate POCs, pilots, demos.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure governance and compliance with partner engagement and adherence to laws and regulations.

  • Monitor and report on service level agreements (SLAs) related to sales operations processes.

  • Ensure compliance with SLAs and take corrective actions as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with various internal teams including marketing, sales, engineering, service delivery, and finance to ensure target achievement.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and maximum partner support.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience in account management, channel management, or partner management.

  • Strong understanding of the partner ecosystem, including resellers, system integrators, ISVs, and their business models.

  • Excellent sales and account management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners.

  • Technical acumen in cloud technologies, software solutions, and IT infrastructure.

  • Strategic thinking and business acumen, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive analysis skills.

  • Highly motivated and target-driven with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in creating dashboards and reporting.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within the MENA region.

  • Familiarity with data sovereignty and residency requirements in Saudi Arabia.

  • Experience with cloud technology and digital transformation solutions.
