Role Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with key client accounts in the Oil and Gas sector. This Riyadh-based role requires an individual with a strong background in account management, a proven track record in driving growth, and a deep understanding of the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering cloud solutions to this sector, with a strategic approach to client engagement and a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
Serve as the primary contact for assigned Oil and Gas client accounts, developing a deep understanding of their business needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to introduce new cloud technologies and services that align with client needs.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of cloud solutions and services, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to secure long-term partnerships.
Performance Management
Monitor account performance, track key metrics, and provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Stay updated on trends and technological advancements within the Oil and Gas industry, including the evolving regulatory environment.
Analyze account data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and proactively suggest solutions to enhance client success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and technical support, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and a consistent client experience.
Participate in the development of marketing and sales strategies, particularly in the Oil and Gas sector.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience in account management, with a focus on managing client accounts within the Oil and Gas sector.
Demonstrated success in selling and delivering cloud solutions and digital transformation services.
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and maintain long-term client partnerships.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions in a client-friendly manner.
Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the Oil and Gas sector and its unique challenges.
A proactive, customer-focused mindset, with the ability to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within the MENA region, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and data sovereignty standards.
Previous experience in the Oil and Gas sector is highly advantageous.
