Data is archived for 48 months after a candidate is placed, or if the candidate requests removal of their data, it will be done in a reasonably short time period after the request. We will comply with our obligations and safeguard your rights under the GDPR at all times. For more details on security see section 7, below.6.2 Our use of your personal data will always have a lawful basis, either because it is necessary for our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to our use of your personal data (e.g. by subscribing to emails), or because it is in our legitimate interests. Data will therefore be retained for the following periods (or its retention will be determined on the following bases):6.5.1 All personal data collected will be kept active indefinitely on our CRM system from the candidate’s date of registration until they are placed in employment by us. After placement, data will be retained for a further 48 (forty-eight) months, after which time, unless a person expressly asks us to update and have us retain their data, it will, by default, be securely deleted. In the case of candidates who are unplaced by us, but for whatever reason, ask us to withdraw their availability, we will archive the data for 48 months from the date of their request as if they had been placed. Likewise, after a further 48 months, their data will, by default, be securely removed. 6.5.2 If we are requested by a candidate to actively remove their data at any time (as opposed to the candidate merely withdrawing their availability for employment) we will do so within a reasonable period. In this instance, should the person requesting removal have been placed within the previous 48 months, we will only retain data pertinent to potential legalities over that placement contract between us and any client. (e.g Including, but not limited to, the person’s name and the date of their placement).within a reasonably brief period 7. How and Where Do We Store Your Data?7.1 We only keep your personal data for as long as we need to in order to use it as described above in section 6, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it.7.2 Your data may be backed up on password protected cloud servers based within the EU. 7.3 Data security is very important to us, and to protect your data we have taken suitable measures to safeguard and secure data collected through our site.7.4 Steps we take to secure and protect your data include: 7.4.1 Backing up your data online and in the cloud with industry standard password protection. 8. Do We Share Your Data? 8.1 We may share your data with our client companies in order to secure the employment opportunities that you have asked us to find on your behalf. We will not put your details forward to any client company without your express permission either by email, text or verbally over the telephone. 8.2 We may compile statistics about the use of our site including data on traffic, usage patterns, user numbers, sales, and other information. All such data will be anonymised and will not include any personally identifying data, or any anonymised data that can be combined with other data and used to identify you. We may from time to time share such data with third parties such as prospective investors, affiliates, partners, and advertisers. Data will only be shared and used within the bounds of the law.8.3 The third party data processors used by us and listed below in 8.4 are located outside of the European Economic Area (“the EEA”) (The EEA consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein).
