Senior Full Stack Developer (JavaScript / TypeScript), Limassol, Cyprus

Our client is a fast-moving product company in the iGaming sphere, where engineers build a lot, ship daily, and own what they make. They're looking for a builder, someone who gets a charge out of taking an idea from a whiteboard sketch to something live in production, then watching it scale.

What the role actually is:

You'll own things end-to-end, not a ticket queue, actual problems. You'll shape the data model, build the API, ship the UI, deploy it, and watch the metrics. You'll work across the entire stack, from React/Next.js frontends to Node.js microservices handling real volume. This is a team that moves quickly, trusts its engineers, and would rather hand you a hard problem and the room to solve it than a spec and a checklist.

What you'll do:

• Take ideas from zero to one, prototype fast, ship, iterate, repeat
• Build and scale microservices that handle high throughput with low latency
• Work the full stack: data model, API, UI, deployment, monitoring — you own the whole loop
• Make real architectural calls and live with the consequences (the good kind of ownership)
• Optimise performance and cost across the database and infrastructure layers
• Collaborate tightly with product, design, and other engineers in a monorepo setup
• Use modern AI tooling to compress what used to take days into hours, and push the limits of what one engineer can ship

What they're looking for:

• 5+ years building real software as a full stack developer
• A genuine builder mentality, you've shipped things you're proud of, ideally things you started yourself, and you'd rather make something than talk about making it
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript across the stack
• Strong frontend skills with React.js and Next.js (bonus for Vue.js)
• Backend experience with Node.js, ideally Nest.js, in a microservices architecture
• Comfortable working in a monorepo environment
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), plus an interest in or exposure to columnar analytics stores (ClickHouse)
• Experience building and operating scalable systems under real production load
• Hands-on, meaningful experience with AI coding tools, you've genuinely worked with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and OpenAI models as part of how you build, not just tried them once. Someone who has integrated these into a real workflow and gotten real leverage out of them
• A genuine believer that AI is going to be a great thing for developers, and excited to build at the front of it

Nice to have:

• Experience at fintech or iGaming companies (or other high-stakes, high-throughput domains)
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare (Workers, edge infrastructure) and AWS
• A track record of taking systems from "works" to "works reliably at scale"
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, CDC pipelines, or real-time data flows
• Side projects, things you've built for fun, an open-source repo you're proud of
