Senior Specialist Solution Architect Nicosia

The Role

As Senior Specialist Solution Architect, you will define and deliver end to end solution architecture across application, data, infrastructure and security, acting as solution lead within the programme's Agile Release Trains.

What You Will Do

• Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering Leads, System Teams and the RTE to define the optimal system design
• Ensure solution designs meet functional and non functional requirements
• Take part in PI planning as solution lead, resolving dependencies between components and communicating solution intent to teams
• Align solutions with enterprise policies, principles and design patterns, and take them through the appropriate approval and validation
• Work with Engineering Leads and development teams so solutions are built to the target state in an iterative way
• Act as solution lead in defining ARTs, prioritising capability that enables modern engineering practices, continuous delivery and built in quality
• Mentor the team in architecture and technology, and drive reusable assets and accelerators

What You Will Bring

• 5 to 8 years defining and delivering solution architecture for large programmes, digital transformations and point solutions
• End to end solution delivery covering application, data, infrastructure and security
• Solid experience building products in banking or financial services, applying product engineering best practice
• Banking industry frameworks such as BIAN, Open Banking and ISO 20022
• Breadth of architecture experience across scalable web architectures, API first design, event driven architecture, cloud native, microservices, serverless, DevSecOps and data migration
• Architecture design patterns and styles, including microservices, cloud native, API first, event driven and EIP, with application re-architecting and architectural diagramming
• Tech stack: Java, Spring Boot, REST, PostgreSQL or another RDBMS, Kubernetes, Kafka, OAuth2, DevSecOps and Zero Trust security
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with the ability to multitask and solve problems
• Fluent Greek and English

Preferred

• TOGAF certification
• Cloud architect certification such as AWS, GCP or Azure Solutions Architect
