The Role

We are hiring a Senior Specialist in Software Engineering with deep hands-on experience in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) and IBM Enterprise Content Management (ECM) FileNet. This is a production support and platform engineering role sitting at the heart of a major banking programme, keeping business-critical automation platforms available, stable and performing, and evolving them to meet operational demand.

What You Will Do

• Provide production support for IBM BAW, IBM ODM and IBM ECM FileNet applications, ensuring system availability, stability and performance
• Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve issues across workflow, business rules, integration and content management in production environments
• Manage incidents, service requests and defects through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate with business, infrastructure, database and application teams to investigate and resolve production issues
• Conduct BAW platform administration and housekeeping, including monitoring process instances, timers, UCAs, event subscriptions, queues and overall platform health
• Develop and enhance IBM BAW processes, services, integrations and user interfaces to support business and operational requirements
• Investigate and resolve data-related issues using SQL queries on Microsoft SQL Server
• Support application deployments, release validations, environment troubleshooting and post-release verification
• Maintain production support documentation, knowledge articles, operational procedures and known error records

What You Will Bring

• Proven hands-on experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) as the primary platform
• Working experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) and IBM ECM FileNet
• Strong production support experience: incident management, RCA, corrective and preventive actions
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow for incident, request and defect management
• Solid SQL skills against Microsoft SQL Server for data investigation and issue resolution
• Experience supporting application deployments, release validations and post-release verification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the discipline to work SLAs in a live banking environment

The Details

• Location: Nicosia, Cyprus. Fully onsite, no remote or hybrid option
• Hours: 8 hour working day, Monday to Friday
• Permanent, full time
• Languages: Fluency in both Greek and English is mandatory. Candidates who do not speak both languages cannot be considered
