About the Opportunity
Our client is an international investment and strategic consulting group launching a new, state-of-the-art Longevity & Complementary Medicine Center in Paphos, Cyprus. This is a rare opportunity to build a premium, high-end urban day clinic from scratch (Phase 0), in partnership with a well-resourced parent group.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and execution-driven CEO / General Manager to lead the end-to-end establishment, launch, and ongoing operations of the new 300+ sqm facility. The ideal candidate will seamlessly navigate the complexities of local regulations, oversee facility design and procurement, recruit a world-class team, and aggressively build local business partnerships to position the center as a leading Mediterranean wellness destination.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Setup & Launch (From Scratch)
- Project Management & Execution: Oversee the architectural layout, fit-out, and physical preparation of the 300+ sqm premium facility, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Regulatory & Licensing Compliance: Navigate Cypriot municipal authorities and the Ministry of Health to secure all required permits for medical / wellness operations, advanced technologies (e.g., mHBOT), and clinical staff.
- Procurement & Tech Installation: Coordinate the acquisition and installation of specialized medical / wellness equipment (Hyperbaric chambers, Red Light beds, Magnetic chairs, Ice baths, etc.), building relationships with European suppliers.
- Talent Acquisition & HR Set-Up: Recruit, onboard, and establish employment frameworks for a premium team including medical doctors, nurses, nutritionists, therapists, and front-desk personnel.
Phase 2: Ongoing Operations & Growth
- Daily Operational Excellence: Supervise the clinic's day-to-day operations, implementing rigorous, high-end premium hospitality and medical service standards.
- B2B Partnerships & Lead Generation: Build strategic alliances with luxury hotels, private clubs, concierge services, and affluent expat / tech corporate communities in Cyprus to drive steady client flow.
- Financial Management & Reporting: Own the P&L of the center, drive premium membership models, manage variable costs, and provide full transparency through regular KPI reporting to the board.
- Community & Brand Advocacy: Position the center as a local authority in Longevity through community nights, educational workshops, and targeted regional marketing campaigns.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven Leadership Experience: At least 5+ years as a CEO, COO, GM, or Executive Director, preferably within premium medical clinics, private hospitals, high-end wellness resorts, or luxury hospitality operations.
- The "Cyprus Anchor": Deep familiarity with the Cypriot business ecosystem, regulatory frameworks, and local labor markets. Existing networks within the local or expat community in Paphos / Limassol are a major advantage.
- Exceptional Execution Capabilities: A track record of launching operations from the ground up, displaying strong project management skills and financial acumen (P&L ownership).
- Corporate Mindset & Synergy: Ability to act as the autonomous hand on the ground while aligning seamlessly with the overarching strategy, corporate finance structure, and vision of the parent group.
- Languages: Greek and professional English are mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills, charisma, and the ability to inspire a premium team while maintaining strong negotiation skills with local vendors and corporate partners.
