Senior Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry updates.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
• Monitor daily operations for adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
• Oversee KYC due diligence checks.
• Ensure staff are informed of and adhere to compliance responsibilities.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Investigate and resolve compliance breaches.
• Collaborate with other departments for a unified compliance approach.
• Communicate compliance guidelines across the organization.
• Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities.
• Ensure documentation is audit-ready and available for inspections.
• Advise and support the Compliance team on compliance and AML matters.
• Prepare and amend company documents (e.g., templates).
• Review, investigate, and assist in resolving client complaints.
• Provide guidance on legal compliance for investment services.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years experience as a Compliance Officer or similar role in financial services.
• CySEC Advanced, CySEC AML, or ACAMS certificates are an advantage.
• Experience with CySEC, FSA, FSCA, VFSC, or FSC is a plus.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
