Our client is looking to hire, for its Cyprus office in Limassol, a Corporate Lawyer to assist them in their legal requirements and responsibilities.

Requirements:

• University degree in Law,
• Previous experience of at least 3 years in a similar position in the financial or software industry,
• Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the companys full legal rights,
• Good understanding and experience with trademark, copyright laws, piracy and other intellectual property issues,
• Holder of the CySEC Basic / Advanced / AML Certificate will be considered an advantage,
• IT literate (excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools),
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written,
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures,
• Problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability,
• Attention to detail and quality of work,
• Clear and effective communication skills,
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and/or Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day legal requirements and responsibilities of the company,
• Responsible for dealing with legal documents, agreements creation, revisions and updates,
• Assist with issues that relate to the infringement of the intellectual property of the company,
• Research for legal solutions to problems related to IP, software as well as online content and provide solutions,
• Deal with legal matters that concern compliance issues with clients.
