Emerald Zebra is hiring on behalf on their client, a market leader with a prestigious portfolio of luxury hotels and state-of-the-art developments across Cyprus and Greece. As they continue to expand, they are looking for someone who brings both experience and initiative to support the next phase of their growth as their Senior Accountant


What makes you a great fit:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a structured accounting or finance environment
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA); experienced non-qualified candidates are also welcome
  • Hands-on experience or understanding of consolidation and financial reporting under IFRS
  • Strong Excel skills and confident use of ERP software
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable with tight deadlines
  • Proactive and well-organised, with a genuine interest in evolving regulations (e.g. CSRD, Transfer Pricing)

What you'll be doing in this role

  • What youll be doing in this role
  • Assisting with group financial reporting and quarterly IFRS consolidations
  • Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and cash flow reports
  • Monitoring weekly cash flow and maintaining reporting accuracy
  • Liaising with subsidiaries, financial controllers, and external partners
  • Reviewing monthly trial balances and management accounts
  • Handling full accounting and bookkeeping for the holding company
  • Coordinating statutory audits and ensuring timely completion
  • Supporting annual budgeting processes
  • Preparing weekly payment runs and ensuring timely supplier payments
  • Validating invoices, challenging discrepancies, and ensuring alignment with contracts
  • Managing petty cash and cash reconciliations
  • Assisting with tax compliance, VAT returns, and liaising with auditors and consultants
  • Providing KYC documents to external service providers
  • Managing banking relationships and updating documentation
  • Participating in restructuring activities, new entity setups, or centralisation projects
  • Supporting the achievement of finance KPIs and compliance goals
  • Producing ad hoc reports and financial analysis for senior leadership
