Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Tower Crane Operator for LCA Airport Phase 2 construction to safely and efficiently operate tower cranes on a large construction site. The successful candidate will play a critical role in moving heavy materials and equipment essential to the projects success, maintaining strict safety standards throughout all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tower cranes to lift, move, and precisely position heavy materials and equipment across a large-scale construction site.
  • Follow detailed lift plans and interpret load charts to ensure operations are within safe working limits.
  • Conduct daily pre-operation safety checks and coordinate routine maintenance with the site team.
  • Communicate effectively with riggers, signalers, and site supervisors to coordinate lifts and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor weather conditions and operational environment to anticipate and mitigate risks.
  • Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a zero-accident environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations and any incidents or maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience operating tower cranes on large construction projects.
  • Valid crane operator certification/license compliant with local regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of crane mechanics, load charts, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work at significant heights.
  • Ability to work long hours in challenging outdoor environments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating cranes on high-rise or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with different types of cranes and lifting equipment.
  • Basic mechanical skills for minor crane troubleshooting.
