Senior Backend Developer

Our client is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their Tech team in Larnaca.

In this role, you will design and develop efficient, secure backend systems and play a key role in building and maintaining software applications for enhanced performance and scalability.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams and program managers to brainstorm and develop software solutions
• Design robust server-side architecture
• Develop and manage high-performance databases and backend applications
• Create and maintain reliable APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and security
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software systems
• Implement security protocols and data protection features

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience with C#, ASP.NET, WCF/API, Docker, Windows, SQL, and Azure
• Familiarity with TFS and version control systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to excel in a team-driven environment
• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field
• Strong proficiency in English (verbal & written)
• Based in Cyprus EU citizenship is a must
