Our client is seeking a Product Analyst Payments to join their growing organization. Reporting to: Lead Product Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Managers, Developers, and Operations, to gather and document business and technical requirements related to payment systems and integrations
- Conduct research on market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for improving existing payment solutions and introducing new ones
- Translate complex business needs into clear user stories, process maps, and data flow diagrams for development teams
- Support the full product lifecycle from ideation and sprint execution to release and performance monitoring
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance product design, user experience, and transaction success rates
- Analyse payment flows, transaction data, and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization
- Ensure all payment processes comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and security best practices
- Partner with QA and development teams to validate product functionality and deliver seamless, reliable payment experiences
- Participate in workshops and requirements sessions to align cross-functional teams on goals and deliverables
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst within Payments, FinTech, or Financial Services
- Strong understanding of payment flows, gateways, and integrations with PSPs, EMIs, and banks
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and transform insights into actionable outcomes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, bridging technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with digital wallets, transaction monitoring tools, or payment optimization solutions is highly desirable
- Attention to detail, ownership mindset, and passion for improving financial products
