Our client, a Larnaca-based venture capital firm, invests in innovative entrepreneurs, providing both expertise and financial support to accelerate startup growth. Their diverse portfolio spans multiple sectors, including fintech, accounting and tax, fiduciary services, hospitality, real estate, waste management, and charitable organizations.
As they continue to expand their project management team, they are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the effective delivery of projects across all business units. This position suits an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing multiple priorities and ensuring smooth project execution. Working closely with the Project Manager and department leads, you'll help keep projects on track, ensuring timelines, scope, and objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Planning
- Support the development of project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure records are consistently updated.
Monitoring and Reporting

Track and report on project progress, highlighting potential risks or issues.

Prepare regular status updates and assist the Project Manager with progress reports and presentations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Assist in coordinating tasks and activities across various departments to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Facilitate collaboration between team members and act as a point of contact for project-related inquiries.
Resource, Task, and Risk Management
- Support resource allocation and team assignments in coordination with senior project managers.

Monitor workloads and help prioritize tasks to ensure efficiency.

Identify potential project risks, assist in developing mitigation plans, and escalate issues when
necessary.
Research, Analysis, and Process Improvement
- Gather and analyze project performance data, including cost and timelines, to support decision-making.

Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
- Contribute to post-project reviews, assist in documenting lessons learned, and support ongoing process improvements.
Meetings and Communication

Organize and attend project meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.

Assist in preparing materials for project reviews, updates, and stakeholder communication.
- Help manage communication channels to ensure all parties are informed of project developments and changes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a project coordination or support role (junior candidates accepted).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Problem-solving mindset with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on projects across various business functions.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Jira, Monday.com).
- Certification in project management is a plus.
