Our client is growing and looking to recruit a Full-Time Trading Product Manager to join their team - a certified Great Place to Work®.

The Trading Product Manager is responsible for developing and managing trading products, ensuring they meet market needs and business goals. This involves defining the Product Strategy and Vision, and aligning this to roadmaps, enhancing trading features, optimising platform performance, and delivering meaningful business outcomes. The Trading Product Manager must effectively collaborate with various teams across sales, marketing, operations, risk and technology throughout the product lifecycle.

Reporting to: Head of Operations


Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with business objectives, product strategy and market trends. Define Outcomes (OKRs) and drive growth across them, including but not limited to increasing active traders, increasing trading volumes, driving increased frequency and size of trades, driving the use and adoption of trading platforms, research & analysis tools, and engagement with education
  • Identify opportunities to enhance trading features, improve platform performance, and develop innovative trading tools such as Copy Trading
  • Conduct competitive analysis, stay updated on market trends, and incorporate findings into product strategies
  • Work with engineering, UX/UI, sales, marketing, compliance, and other teams to ensure product success
  • Ensure a seamless and intuitive trading experience through user research, usability testing and experimentation
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, speed, and user satisfaction
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and ongoing improvement
  • Ensure products adhere to regulatory requirements


Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Proven track-record of defining, measuring and delivering impactful Outcomes (OKRs) within Trading Platforms
  • Deep understanding of building / integrating trading platforms, trading businesses and the wants / needs of active traders
  • Familiarity with financial markets, trading strategies, and the competitive landscape
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders, managing their expectations and providing clarity, alongside collaborating within them to define priorities
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues throughout the product lifecycle
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum development processes
  • Educated to degree level or higher

Hiring Process:

  • Interview with People Function member (30-45 min) culture fit and motivation
  • Interview with Head of Operations (1 hour) domain expertise and business alignment
  • Product case study develop and present a solution to a real-world trading product challenge
  • Final interview with COO (45 min) strategic thinking and collaboration
