As an IT Manager, your main duties will be to oversee the outsourced activities for all the companys clients, serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, and manage the entire IT team.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service delivery for multiple clients.
- Ensure all IT infrastructure, systems, and services run optimally with minimal downtime.
- Lead implementation of new technologies and system upgrades.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the main IT point of contact for assigned clients.
- Communicate technical information in business-friendly language.
- Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews with clients.
- Ensure all client SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met or exceeded.
Team & Project Management
- Supervise and support a team of IT technicians, engineers, or outsourced staff.
- Assign and monitor workloads to ensure timely and efficient task completion.
- Lead or support IT-related projects, including rollouts, migrations, and integrations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices are implemented and maintained.
- Monitor for threats and vulnerabilities; lead incident response efforts when needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments across client environments.
Strategic IT Planning
- Contribute to the development of IT strategies aligned with client goals.
- Plan and manage IT budgets, procurement, and cost optimisation.
- Identify and recommend technology improvements and innovations.
Support & Incident Management
- Oversee IT support functions, including helpdesk and ticketing systems.
- Manage and resolve technical issues, escalating as necessary.
- Monitor and improve service performance metrics.
- Establish processes for incident, problem, and change management.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage third-party vendors for hardware, software, and cloud services.
- Review, negotiate, and manage contracts and service agreements.
- Ensure vendors deliver according to agreed standards and timelines.
List of Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following conditions:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in IT management or a related leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cloud systems (e.g., AWS, Azure), cybersecurity, and enterprise IT tools.
- Experience managing outsourced or remote IT teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
