We are looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist to join EMCD's team and strengthen user engagement, reduce churn, and increase customer lifetime value across mining, trading, and investment products.

This role is ideal for a data-driven marketer who understands user behavior, lifecycle communication, and the mechanics of engagement in fast-paced fintech and crypto environments. You will work closely with CRM Managers, Data Analysts, Copywriters, Designers, CX Researchers, Product, and Marketing teams to launch impactful retention campaigns, organize large-scale marketing activities, and continuously optimize user lifecycle flows.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and launch large-scale retention marketing activities such as lotteries, raffles, giveaways, seasonal promos, special offers, and event-driven campaigns.
  • Develop and execute retention-focused multi-channel campaigns (email, push notifications, in-app messages, messengers).
  • Build and optimize automated lifecycle flows across activation, onboarding reinforcement, product adoption, loyalty, and reactivation stages.
  • Collaborate with Copywriters and Designers to craft compelling and personalized content adapted to user segments and lifecycle stages.
  • Work with Data Analysts to analyze user behavior, cohorts, RFM segmentation, churn signals, and CLV to identify retention opportunities.
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate tests and run ongoing iteration cycles using a test-and-learn approach.
  • Set up campaigns in CRM platforms, ensuring correct segmentation, trigger logic, personalization rules, and flawless QA.
  • Monitor and report on key retention KPIs (Day 1/7/30 Retention, Churn Rate, Reactivation Rate, ARPU, CLV uplift) and propose actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate in Agile cross-functional teams (CRM, Product, CX, Marketing, Analytics) to deliver marketing initiatives on time.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and communication quality across all retention channels.
  • Contribute to CRM documentation, templates, segmentation logic, and continuous improvement of retention marketing processes.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in retention, lifecycle, CRM, or performance marketing (fintech, crypto, SaaS, gaming, or e-commerce preferred).
  • Experience organizing mass campaigns, promotions, raffles, and incentive-based retention activities.
  • Successful experience launching automated lifecycle campaigns and retention flows.
  • Solid understanding of customer lifecycle, segmentation, cohorts, churn patterns, and engagement metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems ( Braze, Pushwoosh, customer.io etc.) and analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA, Metabase, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and performance optimization principles.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret user behavior, and translate insights into retention initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and strong ownership.
  • Fluency in Russian and strong proficiency in English.
