Senior Backend Engineer (Go, Blockchain)

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer (Go, Blockchain) to build and scale our blockchain operations infrastructure. In this role, you'll develop blockchain network connectors/adapters, design robust processing pipelines for deposits and withdrawals (queues, retries, idempotency, deduplication), and integrate with our custodial off-chain core and internal services. You will also contribute to architecture decisions to ensure the platform scales reliably as we add new networks and operation types.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and evolve blockchain network connectors/adapters.
• Own operations processing (deposits, withdrawals): design and improve processing pipelines with queues, retries, idempotency, deduplication, and failure handling.
• Integrate blockchain adapters with a custodial off-chain core and other internal services.
• Participate in architecture discussions for processing and adapters, making future-proof decisions: how the system will scale, remain reliable, and support new networks and new operation types over time.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Tech stack: Go, PostgreSQL, Kafka, gRPC, RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with network integrations: external APIs, unstable responses, timeouts, retries, and resiliency patterns.
• Comfortable working with existing production logic: motivated to understand, refactor, and improve—not only build from scratch.
• Write clean, maintainable code; positive attitude toward tests and code reviews.
