About the Role

Coinhold / Wallet is a consumer-facing neo-banking and crypto wallet platform serving users at scale. We are building a secure, AI-native financial ecosystem bridging crypto and fiat.

We are looking for a CTO to define technical strategy, lead engineering execution, and scale a high-performance product used by millions of users.

Location: Remote

What You Will Do

  • Own end-to-end technical vision and architecture of a crypto-fiat wallet platform
  • Scale systems for onboarding, payments, custody, swaps, and Web3 assets
  • Lead AI adoption across product: personalization, fraud detection, financial insights, support automation
  • Build and lead a cross-functional engineering organization (backend, mobile, DevOps, data, security)
  • Ensure platform meets global security, compliance (AML/KYC, PCI DSS, GDPR) and reliability standards
  • Drive integrations with banks, PSPs, blockchain networks, and custodians
  • Establish engineering standards, delivery processes, and platform scalability

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years in engineering leadership (CTO / VP Engineering / Head of Engineering)
  • Experience building and scaling consumer fintech or crypto products
  • Strong background in distributed systems, payments, or wallet infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with crypto custody, multi-chain systems, and transaction flows
  • Proven ability to scale engineering teams (20+ people)
  • Experience delivering AI/ML features in production

Strong Plus

  • Deep understanding of AML/KYC, PCI DSS, GDPR compliance
  • Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or personalization systems
  • Background in high-scale mobile-first platforms
  • Experience in regulated fintech or Web3 companies
