BI Analytics Lead

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of Analytics for building BI team from scratch and leading strategy of BI-direction.

You will be expected to:

• Form and develop a BI-analytics team (from 3 people), build effective processes and work standards within the team.

• Define the strategy of BI-direction development in the company, develop and implement reporting systems and analytical dashboards for different levels of users (from operational employees to top management).

• Organize processes of data collection, preparation and automation, ensure creation of data aggregates and showcases together with data engineers.

• Build interaction with the development team, product managers, marketing and other departments to harmonize analytical tasks and business goals.

• Present analytics and monitoring results to the company's management and propose effective solutions based on the data.

• Develop a culture of data-driven decision making within the company.

We expect:

• 3 years of experience as a BI or product analytics manager (preferably experience in fintech, cryptocurrency products or large technology companies).

• Overall experience of working as an analyst from 5 years.

• Higher technical or economic education (priority to universities: Moscow State University, MIPT, Higher School of Economics, Moscow State Technical University, ITMO, St. Petersburg State University, NSU).

• Excellent command of SQL and confident skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scipy, Matplotlib/Plotly).

• Strong knowledge of one of the popular BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Superset, Looker).

• Understanding of ETL process design principles and experience with data automation.

• Experience building a BI analytics team from the ground up and implementing analytic processes.

• High level of autonomy, proactivity, advanced strategic thinking, strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex findings and recommendations to a diverse group of stakeholders.

Will be a plus:

• Interest in data visualization and interface design, familiarity with books by Tufty, Few, Norman.

• Experience in large technology companies (VK, Yandex, Avito, etc.).

• Ability to work without TOR and independently form clear requirements for reports used by a large number of users.
