Regulatory Counsel

We are looking for a Regulatory Counsel to join our growing legal team at EMCD a leading global crypto ecosystem operating across Europe, UAE, and CIS countries. This is a strategic role focused on licensing and compliance in multiple high-risk jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support licensing processes (VASP, EMI, MSB, broker) in EU, UAE, and other key regions

• Conduct regulatory research and advise on licensing requirements

• Prepare, review, and coordinate license applications with local counsel and regulators

• Draft and maintain internal compliance policies, Terms of Use, and other legal documents

• Provide clear legal guidance to non-legal teams (product, marketing, finance)

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in financial markets regulation, compliance, or crypto law

• Hands-on licensing experience in at least one of the following: EU, UAE, Canada, CIS

• Fluent in English (must-have)

• Strong understanding of AML/CFT, FATF, MiCA, and high-risk sector regulations

• Ability to manage projects independently and collaborate with international teams
