Physical and Financial Security Manager

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Physical and Financial Security Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust security framework that protects both our physical assets and financial operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in security within fintech or crypto sectors and thrives in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Physical Security Strategy: Design and implement strategies to ensure the physical safety of employees and protection of company assets.

• Background Checks: Develop and oversee background verification procedures for individuals interacting with the company.

• Security Providers Management: Select, manage, and coordinate with third-party physical security service providers, including arranging protection for company executives (C-level).

• Due Diligence & Partner Vetting: Establish and maintain due diligence procedures to assess the reliability and integrity of counterparties and business partners.

• Fiat Operations Security: Develop and audit internal procedures to secure fiat financial operations conducted by the Back-office team, aiming to protect assets, mitigate operational risks, and ensure compliance with internal standards.

• Policy Development & Implementation: Create, update, and enforce internal policies and procedures related to physical and financial (fiat) security, coordinating their implementation across internal departments and external stakeholders.

• Incident Response & Investigations: Lead response efforts to physical and financial security incidents, conduct internal investigations, and perform post-incident analysis to prevent recurrence and strengthen defenses.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in physical and/or financial security, preferably in fintech or the crypto industry.

• Familiarity with modern asset protection technologies (e.g., video surveillance, access control, transaction monitoring).

• Strong risk analysis skills (physical, financial-economic, and operational) with the ability to develop mitigation strategies.

• Experience using data analysis and monitoring tools at a user level.

• Solid understanding of security regulations and legal frameworks.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Proficiency in English (Intermediate/B1 level or higher) for reading technical documentation and conducting business correspondence.
