Join our team as a Commerce Analytics Lead!
As we scale, we need a data leader who can build strong analytical foundations, uncover actionable insights, and shape the direction of our product.We're looking for a Commerce Analytics Lead to lead and grow our analytics team that drives product innovation and strategic decision-making. You'll be working closely with our Sales department to support every decision with data.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a commerce analytics team (starting from 3 people), establish efficient processes within the team.
- Define and track key metrics, develop and implement reporting systems and performance monitoring frameworks.
- Conduct in-depth research, identify trends and insights to support data-driven product decisions.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment between strategic goals and analytical efforts.
- Present research findings and analytics to company leadership, offering actionable data-driven strategies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within fintech or crypto-related products.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a data/product analyst.
- A university degree, preferably in a technical or economic field.
- Proven experience in building analytical teams and setting up analytics processes from scratch.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib/Plotly).
- Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Amplitude.
- A proactive mindset, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills for effective collaboration with top management and cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in Russian - the core team communicates in Russian, so this is essential for day-to-day collaboration.
