Director of Analytics

Role description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Analytics to lead and scale our company-wide data function. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing analytics organization, aligning data strategy with business objectives and driving key product and operational decisions through actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead the company-wide analytics function, establishing scalable processes and frameworks across product, marketing, commercial, and operations teams.
• Design and implement a unified reporting system and performance monitoring framework to drive data transparency and accountability.
• Conduct deep research into product usage, customer journeys, and behavioral patterns to extract insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Partner closely with C-level leadership and key stakeholders from engineering, product, commercial, and marketing teams to align analytics initiatives with business priorities.
• Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights and present them to executive leadership to support growth and performance goals.
• Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing analytics team; implement effective systems for motivation, development, and knowledge sharing.
• Foster a data-driven culture of excellence, experimentation and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role in analytics (e.g., Director or Head of Analytics), ideally in fintech, crypto, or other tech-driven industries.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in data or product analytics with a strong technical foundation.
• Degree in a technical, mathematical, or economic discipline from a top-tier university.
• Proven ability to build and lead distributed, cross-functional analytics teams from the ground up.
• Expertise in modern data tools and environments, including SQL, Python, Airflow, DBT, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), BI solutions and product analytics platforms like Amplitude.
• Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to prioritize and communicate analytical priorities across departments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical insights to non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in both English and Russian is required; additional languages (e.g., Arabic, Spanish) are a plus.
