Senior Data Analyst

EMCD is a leading technology company in the crypto industry, best known as the largest mining pool in Eastern Europe. We are expanding globally and building a comprehensive ecosystem of crypto services, including payment infrastructure, custody, mining solutions and enterprise-grade tools for businesses and institutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to strengthen our product analytics team within the Mining Pool division. This role involves driving data-informed decisions, discovering new business growth opportunities, and developing analytical systems that support strategic and operational excellence across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product performance, evaluate the impact of product changes, and assess new product initiatives.
• Identify growth opportunities through continuous exploration of data and generation of hypotheses aimed at improving key metrics.
• Support the team in applying structured, data-driven approaches to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Design and maintain a system of dashboards and alerting tools to monitor deviations and trends in product metrics.
• Develop analytical instruments and establish processes such as A/B testing, data logging, and other experimentation frameworks.
• Promote a culture of experimentation, hypothesis validation, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Proficient in Python, including capabilities beyond the standard analytical stack.
• Hands-on experience with one or more BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Superset.
• Experience in designing and interpreting experiments and A/B tests.
• Solid understanding of statistical principles.
• A structured mindset with a passion for systematization and organization.
• Familiarity with ETL concepts is a plus.
• Experience working with GitLab and Airflow is an advantage.
• Background in technology companies such as VK, Yandex, Avito, or similar organizations will be considered a strong asset.
