Senior Backend Developer (Golang)

We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Golang) to join our fintech platform team at EMCD one of the top global crypto ecosystems.

Youll work on the core backend services powering internal fintech products: authentication, off-chain and blockchain transfers, balance tracking, KYC, and more. The role involves both developing new services and carefully extracting critical functionality from the monolith.

Responsibilities:

• Write new services and evolve existing ones using Golang

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to support platform growth

Challenges You'll Tackle:

• Extracting critical functionality from a monolithic application

• Balancing development speed with long-term maintainability and code quality

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Go and hands-on experience with real-world backend systems (4+ years of experience)
• Experience working with PostgreSQL
• Experience using message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS)
• Background in product development using Go
• Fintech experience is a plus
