Job Openings Head of Product Analytics

About the job Head of Product Analytics

EMCD is a leading technology company in the crypto industry, best known as the largest mining pool in Eastern Europe. We are expanding globally and building a comprehensive ecosystem of crypto services, including payment infrastructure, custody, mining solutions and enterprise-grade tools for businesses and institutions.

We are looking for an experienced and impact-driven Head of Product Analytics to lead the product analytics function and shape how product decisions are made across the organization. This role combines people leadership, process ownership, and deep analytical expertise, with a strong focus on measurable business and product impact, healthy data foundations, and the adoption of a data-driven mindset within the Product organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the product analytics function, including team leadership and the end-to-end decision-making system from data collection and metrics health to experimentation and impact measurement.
  • Design and implementation of a standard framework for measuring the impact of product releases through A/B testing, robust post-release analysis, retrospectives, and structured decision logs.
  • Driving a pipeline of product initiatives where analytics consistently leads to measurable improvements in key metrics, including uplift and return on investment.
  • Accountability for critical product metrics and telemetry, including metric definitions, dashboards, monitoring, alerting, and service-level expectations for data freshness and quality.
  • Reduction of high-severity product data incidents through root cause analysis, preventive measures, and continuous improvement of data reliability.
  • Management of team planning, prioritization, and delivery predictability, with a focus on reducing rework and improving transparency of analytics intake and service levels.
  • Development of analytics team members through performance reviews, individual development plans, and strengthening product thinking capabilities.
  • Promotion of self-service analytics adoption among Product Managers and Product Owners through dashboards, documentation, training sessions, and practical guidelines.
  • Close partnership with the Chief Product Officer and key Product Managers, influencing the product roadmap through data, problem-first thinking, and evidence-based recommendations.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience leading a product analytics or analytical team, with ownership of both people and processes.
  • A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in product or growth analytics, with a proven track record of influencing product metrics and business outcomes.
  • Strong expertise in experimentation and causal inference, including A/B testing, quasi-experiments, post-release analysis, interpretation of results, and structured retrospectives.
  • Advanced SQL skills and practical Python experience, including pandas and numpy, with sufficient statistical and visualization proficiency for production-level analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude or similar tools, as well as BI solutions like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalents.
  • Well-developed systems thinking and project management skills, including problem decomposition, cross-team coordination, and predictable delivery of results.
  • Ability to design, simplify, and scale processes with a focus on outcomes, minimizing single points of failure and ensuring stable, repeatable analytical output.
  • Strong ownership mindset, proactive approach, and clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders.

Challenges

  • Building a product analytics function that consistently delivers measurable uplift and business value rather than ad hoc insights.
  • Ensuring high data quality and telemetry health in a fast-moving product environment with multiple teams and initiatives.
  • Balancing experimentation speed with methodological rigor to support confident decision-making.
  • Scaling analytics processes and culture across the Product organization while maintaining clarity, focus, and predictability.
  • Aligning diverse stakeholder expectations and priorities around a shared, data-driven view of product success.
