Job Description:
Purpose of role:
Account Managers create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers and play an important role in retaining existing clients and key customers, as well as achieving assigned sales targets. The Account Managers role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers and ensure the customers needs are met timeously, develop new business from existing clients, manage expectations, and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account managers find solutions client issues and maintain a positive relationship between both parties for future business ventures.
Main responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a professional relationship with clients.
Coordinate with various teams so that the customers expectations are met.
Help develop initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
Actively pursue new clients promoting EM's products.
Assist all teams to meet financial targets and growth objectives.
Upsell services and solutions.
Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services.
Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes, assisting with critical issues and escalations.
Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.
Offer solution based proposals to clients - taking their requirements and developing a basket of products that will be used to ensure a successful completion of the project.
Attending to enquiries.
Maintain the companies CRM program ensuring all meetings are uploaded promptly and customer record is maintained.
- Must be able to address basic technical queries.
Essential requirements:
Qualified Electrician
A proven sales record of at least 5 years with customer loyalty and retention in a related industry.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to offer above accepted service levels to ensure client satisfaction
Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent active listening skills.
Persuasive, Adaptive, Innovative
Strong Collaborator
Deep understanding of consumer behaviours and industry trends
Own car and a valid drivers licence
Beneficial requirements:
An electrical or related degree/diploma/education/experience
Business background or education
Formal Presentation Skills
Experience working with both direct and indirect customers
Familiar with CRM software
