The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a Lawyer / Associate (18 months – 2 years PQE) to join its Corporate & Commercial team in Sydney.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the firm's Managing Partner and broader team across a range of corporate and commercial matters, including private company transactions, capital raisings, shareholder arrangements and corporate structuring. You will gain hands-on exposure to sophisticated transactions while developing strong technical and commercial skills within a supportive boutique environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, share and asset transactions and broader commercial matters.
- Support the drafting and negotiation of transaction documents and commercial agreements.
- Assist with corporate structuring, governance and shareholder arrangements.
- Work directly with clients, founders and business owners on day-to-day advisory matters.
- Collaborate closely with senior lawyers and partners on complex transactions.
- Contribute to a collaborative and growing Corporate & Commercial practice.
About You
- Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand with approximately 18 months – 2 years PQE in Corporate & Commercial law, ideally gained at a respected boutique, mid-tier or top-tier firm.
- Exposure to M&A, corporate transactions or general commercial advisory matters.
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in developing client relationships.
- Motivated to learn and develop within a collaborative boutique environment offering meaningful responsibility early in your career.
