Job: Agile Coach

Location: North Dublin, Ireland

Rate: 550-650 per day

Type: Daily rate Contract

Term: 12 months+

Working arrangement: Hybrid 2 days onsite per week.

Elwood Roberts is working closely with a well-known Irish Business who are going through a major digital transformation and are looking for a talented and experienced Agile Coach. As an Agile Coach you will play a critical role in evolving our customer's Agile journey, to increase agility and improve delivery through continuous improvement. This will be achieved by working with stakeholders across the technology department and across the wider business.

In the role you will work with the technology teams to enhance the agile journey and the steps, practices and roles needed to continue to implement and embed the agile framework across the organisation.

We are looking for people with the below experience:

  1. Deep understanding of current Agile models aligned to emerging technologies and successful tech industries, along with the capabilities to guide and influence stakeholders and teams in building and embedding an agile framework into a complex delivery organisation. This experience to be demonstrated in at least five years in working in similar environments.
  2. Proven experience and knowledge of successfully implementing and enhancing an agile framework for a complex technical delivery organisation.
  3. Knowledge and experience of CI/ CD practices is essential.
  4. Experience in successfully coaching multiple agile teams.
  5. Proven experience facilitating planning with business and IT stakeholders. Providing direction, guidance or recommendations around agile processes and improvements.
  6. Ensure that the agile approach aligns with business and technology trends and strategy.
  7. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and commitment to producing high quality outcomes to tight deadlines.
  8. Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to present facts, plans, training clearly and objectively.
  9. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage effective working relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
  10. Proven ability to implement change management and build strong relationships.
  11. Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of financial cost models
  12. Strong user of Atlassian Suite Tools especially JIRA and Confluence, Tempo would be desirable.
