Description
- Lead and provide subject matter expertise in sand control, well stimulation, completion/intervention design, production enhancement, and flow assurance strategies across various offshore environments.
- Drive engineering excellence through the development, review, and implementation of technical standards and best practices.
- Oversee complex field development projects, ensuring alignment with reservoir and production goals, regulatory compliance, and technical integrity.
- Conduct peer reviews and formal technical audits of engineering programs, designs, and procedures.
- Provide mentorship and competency development support to junior and mid-level engineers within the organization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (subsurface, drilling, production, facilities) to optimize field performance and ensure seamless execution of engineering projects.
- Support well delivery and asset optimization through technical leadership in well design, completion, and intervention planning.
- Continually evaluate new technologies, workflows, and methodologies to enhance production and operational efficiencies.
- Contribute to incident investigations, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering operations.
- Prepare and present technical reports, standards, and recommendations to management and stakeholders, including internal and external technical committees.
Responsibilities
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience, specializing in a specific engineering discipline in sand control, stimulation, completion / intervention engineering, production enhancement and flow assurance for both shelf and deep-water application.
- Proven track record of technical leadership in complex projects, field development, well design, or asset optimization.
- Experience in standards development, peer reviews, technical audits, and mentoring junior engineers.
