Position : Drilling HSE Supervisor

Scope of Works:

• Assist HSE Manager to administer/ manage activities of the HSE section.
• Represent HSE Manager in liaising with Government/ Petronas/ PCSB/ PIMMAG/ Industry/ etc on HSE when required.
• Ensuring that the highest safety performance standards are maintained through the implementation of COMPANYs Safety Management System (HSEMS). Focal person in implementation of accident prevention and safety awareness programs, reviews and analyses accident/near miss incidents to measure safety performance, identifies causes and provides suggestions for improvement.
• Supervises and ensuring a high level of safety awareness amongst employees and contractors. Coordinates and conducts orientation and follow-up training programs in the various subjects. Ensures the availability and distribution of safety manuals, materials, publications and safety literature is available to all employees and displayed prominently at all Company locations.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to the Drilling Supervisor to set appropriate objectives for HSE management, Emergency management and implementation.
• Develops Emergency Response Procedures and conduct regular evacuation and emergency drills and exercises in order to ensure the highest levels of preparedness at all locations in any emergency.
• Develop Blow Out and Hazardous Material release Emergency Response Plans and Fire Evacuation Plans
• Develop Safety Inspection format and train field personnel for inspection and preparing database.
• Support Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments for all site activities
• Participates in the implementation of occupational health and hygiene programs in order to maintain the highest levels of personal hygiene of employees and work areas. Follows up on identified issues.
• Organize audit programs including coordination and recordkeeping of site audits with Contractor HSE supervisors.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure HSE compliance.
• Provide HSE support to Drilling Supervisor for Emergency Response.
• Conduct Training and drills to Maintain Emergency Preparedness, Organize/Conduct training & coaching to promote HSE Awareness and efficiency.
• Analyze, Monitor & Record HSE trends/statistics for future HSE planning and proactive measures. Ensure all HSE related information is reported back to Drilling Support Team (HSE Advisor).
• Participates in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies to ensure that all potential hazards are identified and measures taken to mitigate them.

Minimum Requirement(s):

• Minimum qualification of high school certificate, diploma or Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 10 years experience working in Drilling Operations, with exposure to deepwater drilling.
• Minimum 5 years experience as HSE professional in a supervisory role.
• Nationality must be Malaysian.
