Description

  • Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as architects, engineers, and contractors, to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure that fit-out and expansion projects meet all contractual requirements and client expectations.
  • Supervise the installation and integration of MEP systems, including power distribution, cooling, fire suppression, and security.
  • Track project progress, addressing any issues or risks that might affect the delivery timeline.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications, local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Optimize the use of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for effective collaboration and project success.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and best practices to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing projects in the construction industry, with a focus on client fit-out and expansion.
  • Deep understanding of MEP systems, preferably within the data centre industry.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proven project management skills, including planning, organization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of successful stakeholder management.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience managing risks and conflicts.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience with new construction projects is advantageous.
