Safety & Health Manager

The Safety & Health Manager to lead on safety issue / matter at project site. The Safety & Health Manager reports to the Deputy General Manager (QMS & Safety) and this position will be based in Labuan.

Essential Duties

• To ensure safety briefing at site conducted properly.
• To ensure and prepare related safety reports.
• To prepare and update safety policy when there is new update or requirement from OHSAS.
• To prepare safety manual
• To brief and update internal staff and/or sub-contractor worker on safety matters.
• To oversee workmanship and personal protection equipment is available for all the staff and workers.
• To ensure HIRARC and Safety Risk Control for project site compliancy
• Sets standards for Safety & Health Management System benefits.
• Ensures that Environmental requirements and regulations are followed.
• Ensures keep responsibility in ensure to use safe work practices for safety and health that comply with
• Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
• Ensures that the anti-bribery management system, including policy and objectives, is implemented, and maintained to adequately address the organizations bribery risks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma / bachelors degree / Highest Qualification with or without experience in any related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety in construction or any related field.
• Competent person as Certified Safety Health Officer (Green Book Holder)
• Required skills: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Words, Excel
• Knowledge of the QESH & Anti Bribery related legal requirements and implementations.
