Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the HSSE content of the Contract scopes of work are right for the associated scope risk profile and provide the necessary, fit-for-purpose content to deliver the desired outcome of zero HSSE incidents throughout all phases.
  • Conduct Greenbanding / Contractor HSSE MS assessments during pre- tendering process
  • Provide HSSE evaluation into the contract assessment process, as required.
  • Review on a regular basis the progress of Contractor HSSE Plans and the status of Contractor Initiatives and Audit scheduling.
  • Support the annual schedule for contractor auditing, ensuring a timely report is delivered to the Lead Wells Engineer (HSSE), and actions are registered.
  • Compile and monitor self-assessments and LOD1 level audits, reporting to Lead Wells Engineer (HSSE) of any deficiencies
  • Support reporting of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Waste Recirculatory from Wells activities to Wells and Environment departments
  • Enable Operational teams in their GHG and Waste Recirculatory Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) by supporting reports into the opportunity database with periodic follow up on progress
  • Support the Wells Annual HSSE Calendar of Events (including meetings/audits/visits/inspections/training); this may include offshore site verification
  • Monitor and regularly review and report on the status of the Wells Annual HSSE Plan to the Lead Wells Engineer (HSSE)
  • Support HSSE meeting schedule for differing levels of meetings where required, including Contractor Partner Forums, with Terms of Reference and Minutes of Meeting, distributed in a timely manner to the distribution list.
  • Responsible for advising the Operations team that all activities are in accordance with legislative requirements, and company policy and standards.
  • Providing HSSE advice and support to the CWI (Field) in a proactive manner.
  • Providing HSE advice and support to Contractor Representatives.
  • Determine improvement or intervention actions through analysis of personal safety data.
  • Act as CWI focal point for arranging HAZIDS/HAZOPS in the field and any other formal assessments of proposed CWI operations or novel equipment.
  • Acting as CWI focal point for incident and investigation process, ensuring that company Incident and Investigation Standard has been followed.
  • Involved in incident reporting and any subsequent investigations, and as focal point, coordinate that effort.
  • For incidents requiring external reporting, ensure that all appropriate and responsible regulatory agencies and bodies are informed in a timely and proper manner.
  • Regularly review and report to the Lead Wells Engineer (HSSE) the status of outstanding actions arising from incident investigations and audits.
  • Process Safety experience, Logistics HSSE (Maritime, Aircraft) experience also an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • 6 years Oil & Gas industry experience preferably in a similar position. 
  • Conversant with application of Petronas Governing Standards 2024 (PPGUA) especially in HSE Management For Working Together In A Contract Environment
  • Has knowledge of developing work plans
  • Has previous experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Is able to write effective management summaries.
  • Has problem solving experience.
