About the job Well Intervention Engineer
Responsibility
- Design, plan and execute the well completions.
- Ensure the integrity program for completion equipment, tools and services are in place and functioning.
- Strategize, plan and schedule preparation to ensure all activities are operated in safe and cost-effective manner.
- Interface with subsurface, facilities and operations teams to ensure delivery of completions that will deliver maximum project value.
- Improve completion efficiency through the application of the state-of-the-art technology in all facets of the operations.
- Reduce NPT and operations cost by identifying problem areas, analyze NPT trends and recommend remedial action.
- Ensure compliance to COMPANY'S safety requirement and standards by coordinating and performing on site rig inspections, acceptance test on contracted drilling rigs and 3rd party equipment, materials and supplies.
- To prepare Final Well Report and conduct After Action Review after end of well
- The incumbent has these competencies and the minimum levels required to perform the job satisfactorily
Requirement
- Possess B.Sc. or B.E. Degree in relevant field of engineering (Preferably a Master degree) in relevant field of engineering.
- Possess valid BOSIET/HUET/EBS certification
- Minimum 10 years' experience in well completion / operations of oil and gas industry including minimum 3 years' field experience operations
- Candidate experienced working with established operator with good performance report.
- Experience in offshore drilling/completion operation.
- Good In using drilling/completion software (Landmark).
- Good English proficiency and able to communicate with locals.
- Possess basic computer skills (MS Office or equivalent)
- Good communication skill, negotiation and persuasion skill with the vendors.
- Good team work with project team members.
- Technical know-how with completions from his previous field experience.
- Good attitude and pleasant manner.
