Senior Project Engineer

An accountable Senior Project Executive to be responsible for all operations, engineering, and technical disciplines on the project you involve. You will work Technical Lead and HOD to plan, schedule, forecast, resource and manage all technical and commercial activities assuring accuracy and quality from conception to completion involving both project-based execution and business development. You will be also working closely with HOD and Sales Focal to help achieve department objective and goals in terms of Product/Technology/Skill Group assigned to you.

Main Responsibilities including but not limited to: -

• Work with Manager on preparation, scheduling, coordination and monitoring of all technical & commercial proposals.
• Manage project P&L and continuous cost control and reduction initiatives for all projects involved.
• Assisted Manager on Product/Technology/Skill Group particularly Well Intervention and Well Integrity.
• Client management to ensure quality and success of projects.
• Involvement in full sales process.
• Work with Manager in compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications set by company and clients in terms of Contracting and Procurement procedures.
• Engage with clients to understand their wells problem related to Drilling, Wells and Production and advise technical solutions to them.
• Evaluate new technologies business partner has in terms of technical deliverability, challenges, limitations and commercializing it to be deployed in Malaysian Waters.
• Uphold high HSE standard and compliance

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in the oil and gas industry minimum 1 year field experience in operation
• Possess B.Sc. or B.E. Degree in relevant field of engineering (Preferably as Petroleum, Mechanical Engineering degree)
• Familiar with Petronas procurement standard
• Must be experienced in taking projects from tendering until award of contract.
• Fluent in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Positive attitude, passionate on collaborative teamwork, excel at interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
