This is a contract basis for 2 years duration.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring P-PEMS are maintained timely.
  • Carry out studies/implementation work in Emissions Optimization and Control​
  • Planning for emissions audit assessment
  • Designing monitoring dashboards (emissions monitoring, energy monitoring, equipment performance monitoring)
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies and plans to improve system performance and reduce downtime
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Carrying out process steady state simulations for emissions management (using HYSIS, Symmetry)​
  • Provide training and support to team members/client on predictive emissions
  • Carrying out work in process control roles, e.g. assessment on plant controls, situational assessment & building predictive emissions for combustion equipment.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering field
  • Minimum 1 to 5 years of relevant experience required. Candidates with more than 5 years of experience may be considered for a senior-level position.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of statistical regression techniques
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as Python, R, or MATLAB
  • This position may require occasional travel to various sites
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Firm knowledge in some process simulation and statistical modelling methodologies and a working knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
