QAQC Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control efforts for shipyard newbuild projects
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and documentation
• Ensure that all project activities and deliverables comply with applicable standards and specifications
• Liaise with internal departments, clients, and regulatory bodies on quality matters
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implement corrective and preventive actions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of continuous experience working in a shipyard environment, specifically on newbuild projects
• Must have held the relevant position as QA/QC Manager for a minimum of 5 years within the shipyard industry
• Comprehensive knowledge of QA/QC practices in shipbuilding or heavy marine industries
• Experience with classification societies and conducting audits
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
