About the job Instrument Inspector

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and facilitate project's construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning day to day activities which include redline mark up and for project AFC drawings, specifications, procedures, ITP, shop drawings based on company standards and applicable international codes and standards.
  • Develop QC Inspection package (ITP, specification, procedures & drawings) for the area/ scope of works and get immediate supervisor approval;
  • Perform/ witness quality inspection, testing and surveillance (receiving, installation & testing) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as directed by immediate supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Minimum Diploma or Vocational Certificate in relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in oil and gas
  • Minimum 3 years in onshore/offshore construction and commissioning.
  • IECEx Certified for Unit Ex 003, 007 & 008 and all the prerequisites
  • Inspection and Testing techniques
  • Instrumentation design requirements
  • COMPANY Technical Standards (PTS)
  • Codes and Specifications: International Electrical Commission (IEC)
  • Read and interprets construction drawings
