Electrical Inspector / Supervisor

Description

• Supervise and coordinate of cable laying installation work and electrical equipment installation as per AFC drawing
• Monitor site working schedule and work progress.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction contractors and maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records ensure that contractors management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permitting procedures.
• Routinely study, check and review all contractor scope as detailed in drawings, specifications and instructions to ensure contractors proper interpretation and compliance with the lasted AFC drawings and specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related certificate to the discipline
• Minimum 2 to 8 years of working experience in Oil and Gas industry.
• Registered with Authority (ST/EC) for authorization of testing or operating. Preference: Chargeman certificate e.g. A0, A1
• Registered with CIDB.
• Experience in Operation/Maintenance/ Reliability.
• Experience in handling at least 1 complete Project phases i.e. EPCC
• Offshore Experience is an advantage.
• Design, Engineering, & Consultancy is an advantage.
• Inspection and Testing skill/ techniques compliance with standards & law.
• Familiar with PTS &Codes and Specifications: International Electrical Commission (IEC) and electrical design requirements.
• Read and interprets construction drawings, schematics, SLD competency.
• Must have pre commissioning, commissioning and performance testing experience.
• Familiar with modelling software e.g. Naviswork
