Position : Site Safety Officer

Scope of Works:
- Conducting EHS verifications, surveillance, inspections, and daily walk rounds.
- Preparing and submitting EHS reports, audits, and reviews.
- Facilitating onsite risk assessments, hazard identification workshops, and safety trainings.
- Delivering Company EHS Inductions and developing relevant safety procedures and documentation.
- Preparing bridging documents, conducting gap analyses, and executing hazard spotting activities.
- Performing Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) observations and reporting on Unsafe Acts/Unsafe Conditions (UAUC).
- Leading or supporting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Requirement(s):
- Academic Qualification: Degree or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Professional Certification:
- Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) by NIOSH Malaysia.
- Must hold a valid SHO Green Book issued by DOSH, or
- Possess an International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH).
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in the oil & gas or similar high-risk industry.
- At least 5 years of cumulative experience must be based at yard and/or offshore locations.
