IT System Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration: Manage and maintain servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Network Management: Design, implement, and manage network solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
• Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, systems, and networks.
• Backup and Recovery: Manage backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
• Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in IT system engineering or a similar role.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience in managing enterprise-level IT projects.
