Scope of Works:
- To assist/support Advisor, CSR and Head of PLS/G in handling all aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as well as internal and external communications, media management, corporate branding / identity that are aligned with the business strategies and operations
- Assist in outlining, developing, coordinating, executing, and supporting CSR programs and events that are aligned with the Companys CSR pillars and business objectives.
- Craft internal and external communications, including but not limited to speeches, articles, press releases, communication collaterals, and other related communications materials. Assist in reviewing corporate-level internal communication content produced by other divisions, and compile content for internal and external publications. Support the on the engagements with respected stakeholders to ensure communication materials produced are in compliance with the Companys policies, corporate image, and branding. Assist in managing and monitoring the internal communication channels under the units purview.
- Handle requests for sponsorship, donations, and other forms of corporate contributions as well as ensure overall coordination for approved and nonapproved sponsorships or donations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive media database, good and strong working relations with the members of the media, including local and national newspapers, magazines, radio, and television. Manage and monitor closely the media and social media channels, draft and compile news reports of the industry and where we operate. Provide public relations and media management support as and when required, especially during a crisis.
- Support in preparing and supervising the production of branding materials i.e. brochures, posters, videos, and photographs. Archiving and updating the corporate library of photographs and videos. Manage the stock of publications, corporate gifts, administrative assistance, etc.
- Support in the renewals or award of contracts to vendors or contractors for projects and deliverables relating to the unit. The incumbent is to monitor the expiry of contracts and work closely with relevant focal person for renewals or award of contracts to ensure the continuity of the units support to the Company.
- Collaborate with other divisions, assist in preparing reports and ensure timely submission to support the Companys business operations.
Requirement(s):
- Minimum Degree in Business Administration, Mass Communications or equivalent with at least 8 years working experience.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently, resourceful and multitask.
- A good team player and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Good computer knowledge including Microsoft Office, SharePoint and social media.
- Knowledge in design is an advantage but not compulsory
