Electrical Commissioning Engineer
About the job Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Perform gap analysis between E&I Engineering and Production Departments and the Commissioning Department.
- Provide technical recommendations to ensure adherence to the commissioning schedule.
- Generate commissioning plans, review test pack documents, and prepare sequences for test memos.
- Assist in readiness inspections prior to the issuance of test memos for Pre-Commissioning tests.
- Define system readiness and address troubleshooting during Pre-Commissioning tests.
- Lead or assist in actual commissioning tests per established test memo procedures.
- Extract information from provided drawings and documentation to expedite piping materials and address deficiencies with relevant departments.
- Input data and monitor Piping CPT/CMS platforms, with access granted as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of involvement in marine/platform construction projects.
- Experienced in construction matters and commissioning systems onboard projects.
- Competent in reading Electrical and Instrumentation drawings, as well as commissioning test memos and work packs.
- Familiarity with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and FDS (Functional Design Specification) documentation.
- Proven ability to lead commissioning activities on-site and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- This is a 6 month contract renewable job basis.
